With a professional background that spans construction management, product marketing, and business development, Jason Adams has a true talent for spotting market trends and providing expert marketing direction for the SCS team. Jason’s diverse experience helps him to provide clients with pre-designed, pre-banked renewable project structures that meet financial metrics.
Jason began his career in the construction industry at Endeavor Electric, swiftly working his way through the ranks from Apprentice, to Foreman/Site Superintendent, and ultimately to Assistant Project Manager. At Endeavor, Jason effectively managed large teams in all facets of industrial and commercial electrical project construction, including estimating, budgeting, contracting, and purchasing, delivering all projects on-time and on-budget.
Jason’s rapid success with Endeavor led to an opportunity to become a Construction Specialist with Airgas where he led marketing and sales initiatives for their new construction supply product line. Utilizing his vast understanding of the industry, Jason successfully penetrated an old market with new products, significantly growing market share in the Great Lakes region in the first year.
Having achieved immense success with Airgas, Jason was subsequently recruited for a Project Management position with Edgewood Electric, becoming the youngest Project Manager in company history and swiftly earning a promotion to Vice President of Business Development for all three Edgewood companies. At Edgewood, Jason managed national projects from inception to completion with high-profile clients such as General Electric, Procter & Gamble, and DHL working hand-in-hand with some of the nation’s top-ranked general contractors.
Recognizing the business growth possibilities of entering the renewables market, Jason spearheaded efforts to launch Edgewood Green Technologies, now a leading solar EPC, lighting control, and ESCO organization. During his tenure with EGT, Jason established lighting contracts with large private, public, and government entities. Furthermore, he developed and managed sales agent networks and strategic marketing goals and collateral and established import/export supply relationships throughout Asia. During his time with Edgewood, Jason earned his B.S. in Construction Management from the Haile/U.S. Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University where he currently sits on the Academic Curriculum Advisory Board.
Jason now brings his extensive construction, marketing, and business development expertise to SCS where he manages the team’s marketing initiatives and realizes his clients’ project goals.
